Organising Chairman of
MMA Congress 2023

Dear Colleagues,

On Behalf of the Organizing Committee, I welcome all doctors to this annual event of 3rd MMA Congress (MMAC 2023 from June 9th-11th, 2023 at Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC).

Building on the success of two consecutive years, we have expanded further with two tracts and great venue. The theme for 2023 is "Navigating Healthcare from Treatment to Prevention" It's timely to emphasize importance of prevention of many of the diseases. We still considering many delegates who are unable to present physically and thus the option of hybrid congress maintained despite incurring additional cost. Nevertheless, it will be always great to attend physically with opportunities for great networking with many industrial partners and fellow colleagues. There are also pre-congress workshops being organised.

The program has already shaped up to be excellent, and the networking opportunities will be indeed outstanding for the physical delegates. The venue is centrally located with good access through public transport, comfortable, convenient, and equipped with adequate facilities for a hybrid congress. CPD points will be provided.

I would like to extend my thanks to all my organising committee members, MMA EXCO and Council, MMA secretariat staff and corporate and industrial partners, contributing to the success of this congress.

We’re looking forward to an excellent meeting with great networking and physical meet for physical delegates as well virtual meet for virtual delegates. Join us at MMAC 2023 from 9th to 11th Jun 2023.

The 3rd MMA Congress which carries the theme Navigating Healthcare from Treatment to Prevention will be an opportunity not to be missed for all medical practitioners to meet, update themselves and network with colleagues.

Indeed, preventive medicine is the way forward in our practice, especially in addressing the rising cases of NCDs that have become a major concern in the country.

With the pandemic no longer in our way of meeting physically, we can look forward to a high attendance at this meeting and so with this, I invite all colleagues to join us.

The Malaysian Medical Association (MMA) is organising this Medical Congress for doctors in the private and government sectors concentrating on primary health care.

After a very successful medical congress which was held hybrid last year and attended by nearly 1000 delegates, MMA once again organising Medical Congress for the 3rd year. This year will be in hybrid.
